At All Cost - NYHC 1987-1991

Facebook
Bio + demo downloads etc

You've probably seen me post about At All Cost in the past, as I have been championing them and trying to spread the word about this band for a few years now on various blogs and on Facebook etc.

Well, it appears my hard work is paying off (yes I am taking credit...I have a huge ego you know) as a reunion show is in the works for 2012 and the band is also looking for a label to release there demo tapes on cd or vinyl...any interested labels please contact myself or the band, and in the meantime like At All Cost-NYHC on Facebook, download their music and Let's Bust Shit Up At All Cost Style!!!

The Mentally Ill - Gacy's Place 7" - 1979 -Last Laugh Records

Insanely good fuzzed out punk rock from Deerfield Illinois circa 1979. Thank you to Last Laugh Records for repressing this incredible single to make it more widely available to the masses.... Buy Buy Buy....Dave G.

P.S. The song files above from You Tube are a bit blown out sounding...the actual record sounds 100x better than these sound files.

Znowhite - All Hail To Thee (Enigma Records 1984)

Somethin' For Nothin'

I'm hit and miss on Znowhite in all honesty. I like this Lp , but they lost me on their next couple of Lp's when they began to take their music to an even heavier more aggressive place.

On All Hail To Thee Znowhite bring it with some nice uptempo speed metal, however they also manage to pull back the reins a bit on my favorite song "Somethin' For Nothin" which sounds like Penelope Houston of the Avengers fronting a rockin' metal band...totally catchy and a must listen...Dave G.

Sacred Rite st Lp self released 1984

The Blade

Excellent traditional metal from Hawaii of all places. The music has a bit of an Iron Maiden feel to it, and the vocals remind me a bit of Geoff Tate (Queensryche). I'm posting my favorite song for you to check out and if you like it there are more tracks on you tube. I would assume this record has never seen a re-released or reissued on cd so you'll have to hit the used bins to find a copy...Dave G.
