    I saw them shortly before this show, when they played for the first time ever in Europe. Still have some photos that I must upload one day.

    there's a file of nothing but the tom araya song banter from this show called "slayer speaks". it's not up there with the paul stanley one, but it's still good.

    cannot find my ticket stub but i know i saw the hell awaits tour @ l'amour w/megadeth. dec 29,1984 maybe? i think they played 2 nights...

    I know I saw them on the Hell Awaits tour at Lamour too Jeff, but I can't remember who opened the show. I think I have a ticket stub somewhere. I'll have to see if I can dig it up.

    i'm pretty sure the night i saw was megadeth... it was in the winter for sure. some bastard smashed the passenger's window of my friend's car & we drove back to jersey freezing to death...

    No worries Ben. At least I got an honest opinion of my work on that Slayer Speaks compilation lol. I am waiting for it to be bootlegged to vinyl one of these days...Erich I got my eye on you hahaha.

    the first time I've heard them was the 91'...seasons in the abyss..I felt like I were in hell!!other bands were so ugly but slayer, at my ears, were the evil personified..unforgettable!!the top!
