Sadistik Ritual - Deal With Darkness - Demo Tape 1989
If you like obscure old school thrash metal then this post is for you. Sadistik Ritual were another band from Rockland County NY or Congers NY to be more exact. I was friends with a few of these dudes back in the day, which in all honesty probably caused me to not give them the credit they deserved at the time because I'm a dick and a shitty friend. However, looking back I think they deserved more recognition then they got, so hopefully I can help rectify this lack of recognition and lack of a current internet presence by posting this demo on my crappy blog.
Anyway, let me tell you about the music which is actually good mid-tempo thrash similiar to the likes of Testament and Overkill etc. Overall this is a respectable demo with a good vocalist, good production and thick riffing. If anyone wants to hear their 1988 demo drop a note in the comments...Dave G.

excvellent and obscure tape. I hear their name mentioned on some zines but never been able to find their recordings. This fills an important gap in my want list. Their sound is not too original, but, anyway, not too worse or better than many other bands of the time. Sure, the demo 1988 will be more than welcome, if you can upload it!
just one complaint... is it possible to re-upload the song n. 2? it seems to be corrupt and i can't extract it
I can rezip and upload it again tonight. All the tracks play fine for me, so I am not sure why track 2 would not be working...Dave G.
I got a message about one track being broken but my zip program still extracted it and it played fine. I use 7 zip..it's a good program.
I rezipped the files and provided a new link. Everything is working fine for me so it should be fixed.
sanhebei...if you want the first demo drop me an email dave88@optonline.net.
Not great, but definitely a pretty solid band. Certainly better than a lot of other bands of that time that were far better known. Another band that would have probably been a lot better off if they had been from somewhere other than Rockland.
If they had 1 or 2 members from Queens they could have claimed they were from NYC like Anthrax hahaha.
Wasn't this more of a 'hardcore' type band? I remember (I think) seeing these guys play with a lot of CT Hardcore bands in 1990.
Nah these dudes were metal. Download it and give it a listen for yourself.
