Which Way Records - A Generation of Hope - compilation 7"
Man I haven't listen to this record in years, and I know this next statement will probably break some hearts out there, but the only good thing about this ep is Chain of strength...period...Dave G.

Sometimes it's not a bad thing to break people's hearts. I remember getting this because I liked Pushed Aside. The song doesn't really stand the test of time, haha. And I loathe COS. Always have, always will consider them a bunch of rich, poser, surf dweebs who attempted to hide their lack of talent behind this mask of "bringing back the old school" or some nonsense. Even 20 years later when I'm old enough to know that things like that don't mean shit it still irritates me. I also told someone to get off my lawn yesterday. Anyway, thanks for the post. And the No Escape one - those guys still make me smile.
Man I thought everyone loved COS, but I am finding out through my posts that people have hatred for them. Maybe it was a scene thing as I am on the east coast and was far removed from the cali scene or maybe I just never paid attention. I just always thought they brought the intensity and emotion and that is why I like them. They could sing about fucking dogs and eating dicks and I would still love it. Hey Planet of Terror...GET OFF MY BLOG !!! just kidding man I don't have a lawn to kick anyone off of...Dave G
well, apart from that song, it is safe to say that Against the Wall, Brotherhood and Confront kicked ass too. you didn't break my heart, just show that you don't have much of a taste for good 80s straight edge hardcore :D
