A friend made me an awesome mix cd of 80's post punk and dark wave type stuff recently and I really liked the 1919 track he put on the cd. Anyway,being the record nerd that I am, I'm currently hunting down the original vinyl for many of the bands he put on the cd, and the first record I scored was this one by 1919. I guess the most immediate comparison would be Killing Joke... I don't know what else to say except that I really like dark moody 80's music, and I hope you do too...Dave G.

Cool Erich, I am waiting on their Lp "Machines" at the moment. Maybe when it shows up I'll post it as well.
1919 are brilliant.....and sadly ignored.
I'll do my best to get 1919 some attention. I have the Machines Lp coming my way and it will most likely find it's way to the blog.
