Cause For Alarm s/t ep 1983 - Victory Records release 1994
This 7" was originally released in 1983, and then re-released by Victory Records in 1994. Cause For Alarm were part of the first wave of NYHC bands along with Antidote, AF, The Abused, The mob etc. Essential record if you are an NYHC fan.
Cause For Alarm were one of my favorite bands in 1983 - i lived in Cleveland, Ohio and they played at a hole in the wall called the Lakefront twice for about $2 each time, once with Adrenaline O.D. - I never had the extra money to buy the record at the time and eventually could never find it again - There was another, non New York, Cause For Alarm out there at one point and i think i heard that and thought that something did not sound right.

I once paid $20 for bootleg reprint of this because the original was like $100. Well, Bleeker Bob thought so anyway.
Bleeker Bob thought hardcore records that came out in 1983 were worth $100 in 1984...
for the record, Bleeker Bob's has been an over-rated shithole for years and years.
How only could they change the color to yellow??? Makes me think of putting the real thing (without the extra tracks) on my blog too .....
