Battalion of Saints - Fighting Boys 12" - Nutron Records 82

I have a great idea since this record is fairly well known. How about I don't say shit about it and you guys tell me something about it or about a memory you have relating to this band or record, like getting a handjob in the parking lot at a Battalion of Saints show back in the day for example or some shit like that...Dave G.

If it was a mid-80s hardcore straightedge record, then your readers could write in about getting bjs from other bald dudes, but that ain't the case.

Sorry no hand job stories but a guy that was a friend of a friend briefly played bass for the reformed BoS during the mid 90s. If memory serves given that most members that hang around in that band too long die, his tenure was brief and only memorable to a few.

All I can say about Battalion Of Saints......great band, that moonlighted as a gang in San Diego. What the hell was with Cali hardcore, and their gang offshoots?

wish i could write something interesting, but B.O.S. were one of the bands whose name i heard back in the day, but whose music i never heard.

Dave...that anonymous comment was actually from me.

I believe when I saw them they demanded hand jobs. Whether or not they received them I don't know. I knew a fella who was so fucked up at a BOS show that that was the night he decided to give up boozing/drugs. Ironic given the nature of the band.

One of the first punk records I ever bought. Got it the week it came out. 20 years later I was playing guitar for them.
