"LAS MORDIDAS featured Chris Thomson (Ignition, Fury, Circus Lupus, Monorchid, Skull Kontrol) on vocals and was released right in between his time spent with Circus Lupus and Monorchid. Also features Dug E. Bird (Rain Like The Sound Of Trains, Beefeater, Fidelity Jones) and Jon Kirschten (Rain). This is a bit more straight forward then the other bands mentioned but is still so good. Trouser Press called Las Mordidas "groove punk" and that term fits pretty well."
I like this band so much that I reached out to them a few years ago about releasing a complete discography on a record label I was involved in at the time but unfortunately nothing ever came of our discussions.

I have a little trouble accepting the vocals, but the music really makes up for it. You can definitely hear sort of a pre alternative sound coming from these guys, with an influence of punk and metal. Good post. Thanks!
